Imad Miteb, the star of Al-Ahly and the former national team of Egypt, believes that the idea of joining the ranks of Zamalek was very illogical and difficult.
“Zamalek is a great club and I had all the respect and appreciation, but playing in its ranks was almost impossible,” Miteb said on a program in the stadium on the Nogoum FM radio station.
He continued, “I cannot be angry, even if one individual from Al-Ahly’s audience.”
“In addition, no one from Zamalek has spoken to me formally before to join the ranks of the White Castle,” he added.
On his experience with the Saudi Jeddah federation, he said: “It was one of the best seasons I had during my football career and I was very successful with them.”
“We won the league and reached the final of the AFC Champions League, and I was hoping to win the championship, but we were not lucky.”
“Jeddah Union was a terrifying team, but my experience with them ended sadly because of the injury,” he concluded.
