Hussein Al-Shahat missed Al-Ahly’s first training session in Doha due to injury.
The official Al-Ahly website stated that Al-Shahat did not train with the team due to his suffering from a slight strain in the back muscle.
Al-Ahly is playing its training session in the Qatar University stadium in preparation for the match between Al-Duhail in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup next Thursday.
Al-Ahly arrived in Doha on Friday and underwent a medical examination to detect the Corona virus, which proved negative for all members of the mission, with the exception of Muhammad Morgan, Executive Director of the club.
Al-Shahat previously participated in the Clubs World Cup, that was in the Al Ain Emirates shirt in the 2018 edition, and he settled with his team in second place after losing the final to Real Madrid.
Al-Shahat played 7 matches in the Egyptian League this season with Al-Ahly, during which he scored two goals and made the same.
