UEFA wants to make some concessions in order to end the current season in August to ease the economic damage caused by the Corona virus pandemic.

The Times revealed that UEFA plans to end the current season in August, while finding some solutions to pressure matches for the event from the effects of the coming season.
The report indicated that the postponement of the Euro 2020 and the Olympic Games in Tokyo will help in finding solutions by UEFA.
The report added that the European Union will meet to discuss how to implement the amendments to the end of the season in August.
The report pointed out that one of the proposals submitted indicates reducing international rest periods for the teams to pave the way for a more intense table in European leagues.
The football season in Europe was supposed to end at the end of May, but it is impossible to do so in light of expectations that the competitions will stop throughout April.
