Foot 24 asked if Hamza Mathlouthi’s relationship with Sfaxi Club had already ended?
According to the Tunisian website, Mathlouthi missed the team’s training today, Wednesday, and one day after the end of his original contract with the team.
“Is the absence of Mathlouthi evidence that the player will not complete the season with CS Sfaxien?” The report asked.
Al-Safaqsi club had revealed earlier that Zamalek communicated with Hamza Mathlouthi, and that the player joined the white team 99%.

Mathlouthi’s contract with Sfaxi ended already on Tuesday, corresponding to 30 June. However, the player can complete the season with his Tunisian team with the signing of a new contract until the end of the season, according to FIFA regulations due to the Corona pandemic and its impact on football.
The site indicated, “The Mathlouthi will join Zamalek immediately in the event of canceling the football season in Egypt, but in the event of the resumption of the competition in Egypt, the closest is the continuation of the player with Sfaxien until the end of the season in Tunisia.”
Hamza Mathlouthi joined CS Sfaxien in 2016 from Bizerte.
The 27-year-old participated in 14 games this season. He scored two goals and made three others.
Mathlouthi played 29 matches for Tunisia, the last of which was in 2018 against Morocco in a friendly way.
Zamalek has Hazem Imam in the right-back center, next to Ahmed Eid, the team started after the departure of Hamdi Al-Naqaz, the former Tunisian right-back.
