Yasser Idris, spokesman for the Olympic Committee, announced that it had received 10 complaints against Mortada Mansour, President of Zamalek.
Idris told Sada Al-Balad TV: “We received 10 complaints, including 4 from the Football Association, and two from Al-Ahly, against Murtaza Mansour.”
And he added, “We have seen that these complaints require referral for investigation, and the code of conduct regulations are in place and approved from 2018, and everyone is exposed to any party complaining.”
He revealed, “Penalties may reach suspension and it is possible that no punishment will be taken, and Murtaza Mansour Salim actually said that it is not permissible to investigate him in the prosecution, but we are governed by an Olympic Charter.”
The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Olympic Committee decided during its meeting on Wednesday to refer the complaints against Mortada Mansour, President of Zamalek, to the Values Committee.
