Real Madrid defender Achraf Hakimi officially signed his transfer to Inter Milan on Thursday.
Hakimi arrived in Milan on Tuesday to successfully complete the medical examination that he passed, and signed a contract linking him to Inter until the summer of 2025.
“Real Madrid and Inter Milan have agreed on the transfer of Ashraf Hakimi,” the club announced in a statement.
“The club wants to thank Ashraf for all these years of dedication, professionalism and exemplary behavior since he came to our academy in 2006.”
“The club wishes it good luck in its new phase,” said Real Madrid.
The club did not give details of the deal, but reports indicate that the deal is worth 40 million euros in addition to 5 million as variables.
Hakimi spent the past two seasons on loan with the Borussia Dortmund team.
Hakimi, 21, has made 45 appearances for Borussia Dortmund, has scored nine goals and has made ten others.
