Al-Ahly tends to settle the fate of the veteran duo Ahmed Fathi and Walid Suleiman, following the two crucial confrontations of Sun Downs in the African Champions League.
Fathi and Suleiman’s contract with Al-Ahly ends at the end of the current season, and he has the right to sign for any team in the current period.
And knowing FilGoal.com Al-Ahly is awaiting the end of the quarter-final encounter with Sun Downs, to hold a session with the two and determine their fate.
Fathi, 35, joined Al-Ahly in the summer of 2007 and went out on loan to Kuwaiti Kazma and Hull City clubs and Umm Salal of Qatar.
Fathi played Al-Ahly this season 15 games and contributed to making two goals, both of them in the African Champions League.
Fathi played 335 games with Al-Ahly throughout his career, scored 24 goals and made 61 others.
Al-Ahly will play against Sun Downs next Saturday in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
