Al-Ahly announced today, Friday, the negativity of the two medical surveys that Badr Bannon and Akram Tawfiq, the team’s players, underwent.
The club conducted a precautionary swab for its defender Bannon after he had cold symptoms, and the result was negative.
Ahmed Abu Abla, the team doctor, stressed that Bannon’s condition is reassuring and that he will be subject to evaluation before Sunday’s training.
Akram Tawfiq underwent an additional medical test, and it also came back negative.
Al-Ahly players went to hospital on Friday and resume training on Sunday.
Al-Ahly will be a guest at Pyramids on Tuesday in the tenth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
