Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Zamalek Club, revealed that his club is close to contracting with a new foreign couple during the next summer transfer window.
Mortada Mansour said: “I see Babel (the first August player) to Zamalek? We are really close to signing a foreign couple.”
“We will announce everything after all things are done. We are now awaiting contracts,” he said in his remarks via the Echo Channel.
He continued, “Our new deals are 3 deals, including a foreign couple, who approached the club.”
I see Babylon, the 26-year-old Angolan winger, playing in the ranks of the first Angolan August. He played with the Lisbon Sporting Sporting shirt and appeared with Team B.
Angolan reports revealed earlier that Babylon was close to moving to Zamalek.
Babel has participated in 11 CAF Champions League games this season and has scored two goals.
Zamalek faced twice in the Champions League. He lost twice by two for nothing and tied once in the Champions League groups this season.
And the President of Zamalek talked about the deletion of the image of Moroccan Khaled Boutayeb from the photo published by the club’s official account to celebrate the coronation of the Confederation.
Mortada pointed out, “The person who removed Khaled Boutayeb from the picture of Zamalek celebrations was held accountable.”
“He was held accountable and transferred to the investigation, and he was told not to do anything except by a decision from the club president,” he said.
He concluded, “Lotib is a player of high morals and contributed with Zamalek in the championship. Zamalek is not like any other.”
