Alessandro Matri, the former Milan and Juventus striker, has announced his final retirement from football.
Matry, 35, issued a statement saying, “I will miss the footballers’ lives very much, but I do not want to feel encouraged again.”
“I never imagined winning three league titles during my career. I cannot complain about anything about my career.”
Matrei said, “I made all my dreams come true with football, so I do not regret anything.”
Alessandro Matri broke his contract with Brescia during the January transfer window, leaving him without a club, before he announced his retirement from football.
Matri started his career with Milan, before playing for several small teams and then moving to Cagliari in 2007, and from them to Juventus in 2011, before returning to Milan in 2013.
The following Matri stations were on loan from Milan. To Fiorentina, then Genoa, then Juventus again and finally Lazio, before he finally leaves for Sassuolo, to play there four seasons and move this season to Brescia loaned.
However, Matrei’s career ended at Brescia station after he played 8 games, he did not score any goal in them, to cancel his contract with the team and then announce his retirement from football for good.
Matri also has 7 international matches, accompanied by Italy, from 2011 to 2015. He scored one goal for them.
Matri was crowned with 6 titles during his career, all accompanied by Juventus. With three league titles, two Super Italy Cups, and one Italian Cup.
And now that the Italian league has stopped due to the spread of Corona virus in the country and the lack of a date for the return of the competition is not known yet. Matry finally decided to end his career as a player.
