FilGoal | News | Koshary crying after Aswan remained: We faced the most difficult circumstances … what Walid Salah El-Din said pressed me

After he got hold of himself after tears celebrating Aswan’s stay in the Premier League, Ahmed Koshary, the team’s coach, said: “We faced the most difficult circumstances in the league.”

“We play all our matches outside our stadium,” he said, speaking on the “Ontime Sports” channel, after defeating Haras al-Hodud by two goals for Thursday’s goal.

And he continued, “There are matches that we played well and lost with honor, and in front of Wadi Tigris and El Gouna, we lost with individual mistakes, and if we had some success, we would be elsewhere.”

“We were suffering from many injuries, not less than 6 or 7 players, to the extent that I had to play the full-back as a central defender,” he added.

“Everything was against me except for the spirit of the players and my happiness is very great,” Koshary added.

He concluded, “Walid Salah El-Din said a few days ago if Aswan succeeded in staying in the league, they should build a statue of Koshari. I told him why did you talk about me in that way? What I said pressed me more.”

Aswan reached 37 points to ensure that it remains officially in the Premier League next season, two games before the end of the current season.
