Ronald Koeman, the Netherlands coach, arrived at El Prat airport this evening, Tuesday, to officially conclude his contract with Barcelona.
Koeman will take over Barcelona as coach of Quique Setien, who was sacked after the disastrous defeat of Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals, with eight goals to two goals.
Coman is scheduled to sign a contract linking him to the Catalan club for two years, according to press reports.
With this, Koeman ends his journey with the Netherlands national team, which began in 2018, which saw him lead the mills to qualify for Euro 2020, and reach the European Nations League final before the defeat against Portugal.
Barcelona is supposed to officially announce the contract today at a later time.
