Nader Shawky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of 11, which runs El Gouna Club, responded to the recent reports about the existence of negotiations between Ahmed Hamdy and the Pyramids Club, and even the “completion of the deal,” according to the reports.
Nader Shawky said: “What is said is not true at all.”
He added in his statements with FilGoal.com, “In principle, how will there be a negotiation session between Pyramids and the player who is primarily in El Gouna and does not leave it?”
He continued, “There is a penalty clause in Ahmed Hamdi’s contract stipulating that it should not be sold locally except to Al-Ahly.”
And he continued, saying, “If Ahmed Hamdi leaves for European professionalism and returns again to Egypt, then also he will not be sold except through Al-Ahly according to the terms of the contract.”
“Therefore, it is impossible for him to move to Pyramids or any other team at all,” he noted.
Ahmed Hamdy, 21, moved to El Gouna from Al-Ahly last summer in a final sale.
The El Gouna playmaker has played 19 games this season and has scored 4 goals and two assists.
