German defender Ozan Kabak is undergoing a medical examination to join Liverpool during the current winter transfer period, according to the German newspaper Bild.
According to the newspaper, the Turkish defender will join Liverpool on loan until the end of the current season for 2.5 million pounds.
Liverpool have the right to buy the CAPAC contract for 30 million pounds after the end of the loan.
Kabak, 20, is a Galatasaray junior and moved to Stuttgart, Germany, in January 2019.
Kabak joined Schalke in the summer of 2019 for 15 million euros.
