Tottenham’s South Korean Sun Hyung Min is seeking a military conscription in South Korea while the English Premier League is suspended due to an outbreak of the Coruna virus.
Sun Hyung is expected to undergo military service for one month, according to the country’s authorities.
Sun had the duty to reduce his compulsory military service by one month instead of two years after he led his country to win the 2018 Asian Games.
The player got the green light from Tottenham to travel to South Korea to perform military service in light of the suspension of the league until next April 30.
Sun is still recovering from his shoulder injury last February.
The 27-year-old scored 14 goals in 27 games in all competitions in the London Duke shirt.
