Al-Ahly striker Walid Azzaro was absent from Al-Itifaq club for his Saudi team’s training on Wednesday because of the end of his loan.
Azaru’s secondment expires on June 30, but after the season is postponed due to the Corona virus pandemic, the club seeks to reach an agreement with the player and Al-Ahly Club.
The Saudi sports newspaper revealed, according to its sources, that Al-Ahly does not mind the continuation of Azzaro until the end of the season, but only on condition that the remaining dues from the loan amount are paid.
The remaining loan amount is $ 100,000, which Al Ahly seeks to obtain before Azzaro continues with the end of the season agreement.
The report added that Azzaro requested a 30% increase in order to complete the remainder of the season with the team.
For its part, the newspaper indicated, according to an official source in Al-Itifaq, that there is a desire to continue Azzaro until the end of the season.
The source stressed that matters will be resolved within a few days and an extension will be agreed due to the absence of major differences between the Saudi club and Al-Ahly.
Azzaro moved to the Saudi agreement on loan last January, and Saudi reports had indicated the desire of a number of clubs to include him for the new season.
