The Angolan winger Ari Babel claimed that he had signed his joining contracts with Zamalek 3 months ago, and that he had not received any response from club officials from the moment after the signing, according to what he described.
At the beginning, Nuno Miguel, the agent of Babel, said: “The player signed his contracts with Zamalek 3 months ago, but since that period there is no response from Zamalek officials.”
“There is no communication or response from Zamalek officials regarding the player’s salary or the date of his arrival in Egypt,” he said in his statements on the Sada Al-Balad channel.
He pointed out, “A senior official from Zamalek club, who was responsible for the deal, blocked me from all social media because of my question about the player’s salary and arrival time.”
He revealed, “We will start taking legal measures and from next Monday if I do not get a response from Zamalek officials, we will decide a second destination for the player. Babel is required in more than one team, and we know very well the measures that we will take if we do not get a response.”
The conversation turned to Babylon, the former Angolan first player, He continued the speech of his agent, saying: “What happens is a great lack of respect for me than a lack of interest.”
He explained, “Amir Mortada – the football supervisor in Zamalek – does not respond to my messages and calls and ignores me, and I see this as a lack of respect. I have a family and since I signed Zamalek 3 months ago, I have not received my salary.”
He continued, saying, “This is a very sad ending. I deal as a fan and player for Zamalek because I have already signed my contracts to join the team, and suddenly I no longer get any responses from club officials, and this is sad and makes me feel bad.”
And in his message to Zamalek fans, Babel said: “To the fans of Zamalek, I regret that this is the end. I hope to play in Zamalek and may join the team, but as a professional and a footballer, if the matter is not resolved, I will leave. Thank you for the love letters and I will have to leave if I do not get a response.”
Babylon, the 26-year-old, has participated in 11 matches in the African Champions League this season, with Primero de Augusto. He scored two goals in them.
Ari Babel has 35 international matches with the Angolan national team. He scored five goals in them.
