Amr el-Ganayni, head of the Football Association, announced that four foreign players will continue to be registered in addition to the North African player who will be treated like the Egyptian player during the coming season due to the exceptional circumstances due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.

Al-Janaini told Ontime Sports, saying, “All current exceptional decisions will be implemented for another season.”

He explained, “The number of foreigners continues as it is, and the list is 30 players, and the Syrian player will be treated like the Egyptian player, and the treatment of a North African player like the Egyptian player for another season due to the exceptional circumstances.”

The current registration regulations stipulate that Egyptian clubs are allowed to include four foreign players in addition to the North African player who is treated like the Egyptian player and a Syrian or Palestinian player who treats the Egyptian player with a maximum of two players.
