Spanish coach Juan Carlos Garrido has officially separated from Wydad Casablanca.
Wydad announced the termination of the contract with Garrido by mutual consent between the two parties, today, Thursday.
Garrido appeared in a video published on the official page of the club, and sent a message of thanks to the fans and management of the club for the previous period, and wished them success in the future.
The club also announced the termination of the contract with the club’s physical trainer in Garredo’s technical staff.
Garrido, 51, took over at Wydad on February 25th, where he led the team in 7 matches. He won three matches, drew two matches and lost the same, and led them to the semi-finals of the African Champions League after crossing ES Sahel.
Garrido had previously coached Al-Ahly from July 2014 to May 2015, and achieved with them the African Confederation and the Egyptian Super Cup.
Press reports in Morocco indicate that Hussein Amouta is close to returning to lead the team again in the coming period.

The change in the coaching staff of Wydad comes before facing Al-Ahly in the semi-finals of the African Champions League. The match is scheduled for a Sunday 17 or 18 October in Morocco, while the second leg will be Sunday 23 and 24 October in Egypt.
On the other hand, Zamalek will meet Raja Casablanca in the other semi-finals of the tournament.
