Abdel Halim Ali, director of football in Zamalek, confirmed the readiness of Mahmoud Alaa, the team’s defender, to participate in the Talaea Al-Jaish match.

Zamalek is preparing to face the Vanguard of the Army next Saturday in the fifth round of the Egyptian League.

Abdel Halim Ali said on the official Zamalek website: “The coaching staff and the players closed the file of the last Enppi match, and we are currently focusing on confronting the vanguards of the army.”

“We will play against a strong competitor who possesses a capable technical apparatus and players at the highest level who aspire to achieve a positive result against Zamalek,” he added.

He continued, “Our goal is to collect the three points to reach the top of the league.”

He pointed out, “The technical staff was satisfied with the condition of Mahmoud Alaa after he participated in today’s exercises and recovered from the Corona virus.”

And he continued, “Mahmoud Alaa performed well during the training and appeared to be medically ready to participate, and the matter remains in the hands of the technical staff led by Jaime Pacheco.”

And he added, “A quick session was held with the duo Hosam Ashraf and Osama Faisal, the team’s players, after they recovered from the Corona virus, to check on them and encourage them to do their utmost in training.”

And he concluded his remarks, “We always communicate with Hazem Imam after the death of his mother, and the player will hold regular training tomorrow, Tuesday.”
