Hussein Al-Shahat scores and celebrates Al-Ahly’s second goal in Wydad
The Disciplinary Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) decided to suspend Hussein Al-Shahat and Mustafa Mohamed for four matches, as they happened after the two teams met in the final of the African Champions League.
A source from CAF – who requested anonymity – told FilGoal.com: “It has been decided to extend Al-Shahat’s suspension for two additional matches, while Mustafa Mohamed will be suspended for four matches.”
Al-Shahat and Mustafa Muhammad clashed after the end of the match, in which Al-Ahly won with two goals.
Thus, Al-Shahat has two matches left in his suspension after he missed Al-Ahly’s matches against Sunideb in the 32nd round of the Champions League.
As for Mostafa Mohamed, he will miss four matches in the group stage after Zamalek did not go to the 32nd round due to the withdrawal of Chadian Djazile
The source added, “It was also decided to impose a fine of 10 thousand dollars on Zamalek due to the misconduct of its players.”
He completed “Kabongo Kasungu, the Zamalek player, has been suspended for four matches.”
