A source within Al-Ahly revealed to FilGoal.com the truth of these sayings.
The source told FilGoal.com: “It is not true that Muhammad Al-Shennawi is relinquishing his captaincy in the coming season to his teammate, Waleed Suleiman, the older one.”
He added, “What has been reported in this regard is completely far from valid and is nothing but false conversations.”
At the end of his statements, he stressed, “This matter was not discussed at all.”
Beginning of next season, Mohamed El-Shennawi becomes the leader of Al-Ahly after the departure of the trio Hossam Ashour, Sherif Ekrami and Ahmed Fathi.
