An official source inside Al-Ahly club described the situation inside the club as “reassuring” despite the recent Corona virus infections.
The source, who preferred not to be named, said: “The situation is reassuring in Al-Ahly, and there is no need for concern or panic or going in the direction of thinking towards a request for a final postponement.”
He added in his statements via FilGoal.com, “The cases of Kahraba, Saleh Jumaa and Walid Suleiman are reassuring and stable, without any serious complications or clear symptoms.”
He continued, saying: “Al-Ahly has formed a room to follow up on this file with the participation of different departments within the club and in cooperation with experts and specialists at the highest level in this field.”
“The situation is completely under control, and the first team is in a closed camp, that is, it is isolated,” he stressed.
Walid Suleiman, Najem Al-Ahly, announced earlier that he was infected with the Corona virus.
Walid Suleiman is the fifth player in Al-Ahly to announce that he has been infected with the Corona virus in the past few days, after Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba”, Saleh Jumaa, Muhammad Sharif and Ahmed Yasser Rayan.
Al-Ahly is preparing to face Zamalek in the expected event next Friday in the African Champions League final.
