A source inside the Football Association revealed the scenes of the postponement of the summit match between Zamalek and Al-Ahly in the Egyptian League.

So the Zamalek and Al-Ahly summit in the fourth round was postponed to a later date, instead of being scheduled for December 28.
An official source within the Football Association told FilGoal.com: “The security authorities contacted the Football Association to postpone the summit match.”
He added, “Security has preferred not to play the summit at the present time because of the New Year and Christmas celebrations.”
And he continued, “And security also believes that the current time is not appropriate for the summit match.”
He concluded his remarks, “Therefore, we confirm that the Football Association is far from the decision to postpone the summit match.”
The Football Association announced the establishment of the postponed third round, which brings together Smouha and Zamalek, Al-Ahly and Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, on December 28.
