OAXACA, Oax., December 23, 2021.- When the night of radishes was suspended, market gardeners from the city of Oaxaca looked for alternative spaces to exhibit their works.
A few hours after the announcement of the suspension, some artisans had already made the pieces with which they would participate in the Night of Radishes on December 23.
Market gardeners from Trinidad from the vegetable gardens of the city and Oaxaca exhibited in shops in the city, which also attracted the attention of visitors.
One of these spaces was the cafe Jaguar Yuú, located in Murguía 202 in the historic center of the city of Oaxaca, which can be visited throughout this Thursday.
In an interview with the gardener Damián Francisco Muñoz Velasco, he explained that they made a treat, or also called a calenda, with fireworks, an approximate of 100 pieces for this work.
The sample of these figures made with radishes will be all this December 23 until 10 at night so that tourists can admire the meticulous work.
The 124 representation of the work was also suspended due to the Covid pandemic and now due to the increase in Ómicron.
In other places, such as Ocotlán de Morelos, they also mounted temporary exhibitions of the work.
