Here there are plenty of examples of entertainment figures who do not stop and who have put their profession aside to continue working on other projects, which sometimes does not even resemble the work with which they have become a public figure.

Tania Báez established herself as one of the most influential figures on Dominican television. With a projection, which at her age, had not been achieved by any woman in the country, In 2013 she decided to leave the television business and take another path.

Eight years after the floodlights were turned off and the cameras stopped transmitting her face, Tania is today a digital business and communication mentor for experts who want to learn how to monetize their knowledge as trainers.

In 2018 she decided to enter the digital world, studying in Santa Clara, California, and created the first course for women called “Entrepreneurs of the future”, from then on she decided to embark, completely, in the digital business.

Silvio Mora

Everyone knows Silvio Mora as a young merenguero who has worked for years to position the Dominican rhythm with new airs. The arrival of the pandemic made Mora look for other alternatives to get rid of all that energy that emanates from his body, so since March 2020, he opened his YouTube channel and began to broadcast “The Silvio Show” with which he has achieved bring your fans entertaining interviews with artists, public figures and figures in the art world that people had forgotten.

“I started to make a program from my room, commenting on music and ranking of the 5 best meringues of the historical leaders of merengue, I immediately saw that my followers loved what I was doing and that’s when I got the idea to interview those artists of the 80s and 90s ”, he told the press.

His first interviewee was Darys Darys, from the Sin Fronteras orchestra and he received Bobby Rafael, “La Bobina”, an interview that went viral on social networks, and from there he decided to give character to “El Show de Silvio” , on his YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, Xiomara Fortuna continues from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday with its program “Tamo ‘here”, where the main segment is aimed at music criticism, as well as a selection of music by artists from the region of Caribe, interviews and other content.
