Figure World – Practice for Puppet Play Therapy in Bern: Meet the Therapists and Their Training

We, Eveline Raaflaub Meier, dipl. Figure play therapist HF and kindergarten teacher and Sandra Schwab Reubi, dipl. Puppet play therapist HF and teacher for the kindergarten, have been running the Figure World – practice for puppet play therapy since 2015.

During my many years of work as a kindergarten teacher in heterogeneous and multicultural classes, as a mother and as a puppeteer, I was able to experience again and again how carefully and easily figures manage to touch children’s hearts and souls and open doors that were once thought closed. As a therapist, it is important to me to accompany the children and characters entrusted to me on their journey together with empathy and appreciation and to explore new paths and discover treasures with them.

  • Worked for several years as a health coordinator (across classes)

Sandra Schwab Reubi

The world of characters has fascinated me since my childhood. During my various years of working as a kindergarten teacher in multicultural and heterogeneous classes, I was able to experience again and again how they help the children to establish relationships and build bridges. As a therapist, it is a matter close to my heart to carefully and appreciatively accompany the children on their individual path through life and to discover their own inner wealth with them.
