Heri has recorded a number of achievements, one of which is his success while leading the Submarine Crew School (Sekasel).

The Sekasel Commander is an implementing element within the Special Education Center (Pusdiksus) whose task is to assist the Pusdiksus Commander in organizing professional development education within the relevant school.

Heri has also conducted education at the TNI Staff and Command School (Sesko) in Germany. Her relationship with KRI Nanggala started on April 3 last year.

At that time Heri, who had the rank of Marine Lieutenant Colonel, was appointed as Commander of the KRI Nanggala-402. His figure is known to be dexterous.

At KRI Nanggala-402 he could be known as the commander, but when he returned home, Heri was a father figure to his two children.

KRI Nanggala 402 with commander Heri Oktavian lost contact since Wednesday (21/4) morning in Bali waters while holding a torpedo firing exercise in the area. Until now, the ship’s position has not been confirmed.

However, there are allegations that the ship sank to a depth of 600-700 meters below sea level. Rescue must also be carried out immediately, because referring to the statement of the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL), Yudo Margono, the oxygen supply in the ship can only last up to 72 hours.

The submarine contains 53 crew members, including Commander Lieutenant Colonel (P) Heri Octavian. While the other 52 people consisted of 49 crew members and three arsenal personnel.
