The Asian tiger mosquito has emerged in the Rotterdam-Rijnmond region. The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) is fighting the exotic mosquito to prevent the beast from settling in the Netherlands. People can lend a hand themselves: “Do you think you have seen a tiger mosquito? Try to catch or beat the mosquito to death.”
