The resistance committee of the local non-governmental organization stated that the conflict between the two sides in the Omdurman area resulted in the injury of six civilians. In addition, the Rapid Support Forces declared several residential areas in southern Omdurman a war zone on the same day, and the local residents were fully evacuated. Hundreds of residents were forced to evacuate from the area, the resistance committee said. Earlier at the end of July, the Rapid Support Forces also declared several residential areas in southern Khartoum as war zones, and hundreds of local residents were forced to evacuate their homes.

The armed conflict in Sudan broke out in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, and its surrounding areas on April 15, and then spread to other parts of Sudan. It has continued to this day.
