Fighters from the Russian Armed Forces report that they have received projectiles from the DPRK. Russia is about to withdraw from UNSC sanctions – 2024-04-17 05:32:17

/ world today news/ Russia, increasing military cooperation with the DPRK, is guided by national security priorities in the context of a proxy war with the West.

Russia is closely involved in the development of relations with the DPRK

According to Kozlov, the issues of supplying Russian flour, corn, soybean oil and meat to the DPRK, joint geological exploration of deposits of gold, iron and rare earth metals, as well as cultural, scientific and sports exchange programs were discussed.

“Our setup is to comprehensively strengthen ties with the DPRK. And the tasks set by Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin will be fulfilled,” writes Kozlov.

The commission took up the issue for the first time in four years and after Kim Jong-un’s visit to the Russian Federation on September 12. This suggests that Moscow will expand cooperation with Pyongyang in every possible way, including in the military aspect.

The Russian Federation does not violate UN Security Council sanctions by buying missiles from the DPRK

The West is discussing the following issues of bilateral cooperation, which the Russian authorities have not confirmed:

1. Projectile deliveries to the Special Military Operation area have begun. The Telegram channel of the Russian serviceman “Diary of the parachutist” confirms this.

“Grad MLRS projectiles, kindly provided by our North Korean comrades, have arrived in the SVO area. Their range is greater, their accuracy is higher,” says the soldier in the video.

In October, the same channel reported plans to launch 11 rapid assembly plants for North Korean weapons in the Russian Federation, which “will be able to produce a full cycle of MLRS and howitzers with a range of fire of 55-65 km, ”, as well as for ammunition for the manufactured weapons. A group of 200 engineers from Pyongyang will arrive in Russia for design and construction as well as supervision, the channel reported.

The West is now threatening the Russian Federation and North Korea with sanctions for violating the UN sanctions regime. But, first, UN Security Council sanctions prohibit the import of weapons and technology in the DPRK, ala they do not affect exports at all . North Korea has banned the export of coal, iron, lead, seafood and labor – and that’s about it.

Joint ventures with North Korean capital are also prohibited. However, this is also excluded – only Korean engineers are involved, so the Russian Federation in no way violates the sanctions of the UN Security Council.

Second, sanctions are no longer feared in either the Russian Federation or the DPRK. They learned to overcome them, they are even useful, including for increasing the defense capability of the Russian Federation, and this should always be a priority.

Pyongyang also denies that “delivers weapons’ but not projectiles, and it is possible that their production is already localized in the Russian Federation.

Russia must withdraw from UN sanctions against North Korea

2. South Korean media noted that there may have been discussions during Kozlov’s visit about sending North Korean workers to Russia, which is seen by the DPRK as a means of earning foreign currency. It is believed that “specific details are not being disclosed to avoid criticism”. Yes, there are such sanctions and we must get out of them.

3. There is speculation that Russia may support the DPRK’s development of a solid-propellant engine for a new type of medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM). This is a sanctioned moment. If we withdraw from UN sanctions, the United States, Japan and South Korea will be forced to focus their efforts largely on containing Pyongyang. Thus, the Russian Federation will have greater freedom of action in the SVO in Ukraine.

The active exchange of delegations, including at the military level, and Sergey Lavrov’s statement that “sanctions against the DPRK were imposed not by the Russian Federation but by the UN Security Council” indicate that Russia will soon withdraw from them. Since Pyongyang has long been the owner of nuclear weapons, we must take this into account and accept it into the “nuclear club”.

At the same time, Israel, which recently threatened Gaza with an atomic bomb, hides the presence of such weapons, but the Russian Federation is not the initiator of sanctions pressure on it in the UN Security Council. This is strange to say the least.
