It’s late at night when a car crashes into the gate of that semi-detached house. The driver is a 45-year-old man who shares the residence with his uncle. The railing is destroyed, as are the flower boxes. The 62-year-old uncle accuses his nephew of having intentionally caused the damageand shouts his accusations while leaning against the perimeter wall. The argument degenerates when the nephew – according to the reconstruction made by the carabinieri – grabs a 2.5 meter wooden pole and hits it several timesseriously injuring him. The injured man’s family members called for help from an ambulance and then from 112.
When the Carabinieri of the Varcaturo station arrive on the scene, the relatives of the 62-year-old are still trying to revive him, his face covered by a mask of blood. The 45-year-old, Salvatore Migliacciowill end up in handcuffs and then in prison. He will have to answer for attempted murder. The lookout was seized. The victim, meanwhile, is hospitalized with a reserved prognosis: the danger to his life seems averted at the moment.
