The new boxing organization Fight Night Challenge (FNC) will start with the premiere tournament in Slovakia on December 27, and fans of martial arts have something to look forward to. In the ring we will see fighters like Attila Végh, Patrik “Rytmus” Vrbovský, Emanuel Newton or Gábor Boráros.
However, a new and very interesting name was added to the hitherto known main card on Saturday evening. On Monday, December 27, we will also see the once great hockey striker Marián Gáborík in the ring. The organization has not yet released the name of its opponent.

Marián Gáborík has not played hockey since the 2017/18 season, but it was not until the beginning of November that he officially announced the end of his career. He played 1,035 games in the regular season with a record of 407 goals and 408 assists. He added 58 points (32 + 26) in 84 playoff duels. In 2014, in the Los Angeles Kings jersey, he raised the famous Stanley Cup over his head. He ended his career early in the Ottawa team due to back problems. The fight at the Fight Night Challenge in December will be his boxing debut.
