The independent deputy Hernán Palma uploaded a video to social networks showing the chaos and disorder that took place this Wednesday in the chamber. The event occurred after the Republican Johannes Kaiser requested to send a letter on behalf of the Chamber to find out if the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic received the declarations of interests and assets of the ministers Carlos Montes and Giorgio Jackson.
Faced with what happened, the member of the Health Commission stated that “this denotes a climate of ungovernability that is going to increase with the passing of days, making it increasingly difficult to manage the Chamber. It is a Roman circus with wild beasts that brutally attack whoever they catch defenseless”.
“I am shocked. I confess that I was scared when I saw that from the Republican right, together with Pamela Jiles and some UDI parliamentarians, they were going to summon the new president of the Chamber to the testera”, said the deputy Palma.

Regarding the request for the official letter made by the deputy Kaiser, Palma argued that “the form and substance of the attack was brutal. Deputy Cuello tried to explain to the presidency that what the right was asking for was unfeasible. It was literally a human pack attacking a president who was defenseless, and who finally had to give in to their coup.”

Finally, the parliamentarian for District 12, maintained that “this sector promises governability, security, that it is concerned about violence and overflow, and they strip themselves before the citizens with this type of action.”
