On Saturday afternoon, a dispute over a lamp in a lamp shop in Breda got out of hand. A fight ensued. Two people were arrested.
Police received a report of a brawl, a police spokesman said. Several agents went to the shop. “There were about thirty passersby there. We arrested two people. Both sides are reporting it,” the spokesman said.
Aggressive customer
According to Najah Boulakjar of Lampen en Meer, he was a difficult customer. He says, “We had a customer who came in for a long time and couldn’t stop shopping. This customer became very aggressive. There were more family members and that caused more aggression.”
After the police arrived, calm returned to the shop. Boulakjar: “We assume that everything will be fine for the rest of the afternoon”.
