Argentina 1-1 Paraguay 
Paraguay drew 1-1 at its host, Argentina, in the match that brought the two teams together, the “La Bombonera” stadium in the capital, Buenos Aires, in the third round of South American qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
This is the first draw for Lionel Messi’s companions after “Albicelesti” scored two victories in the first two rounds over Ecuador (1-0) and Bolivia (2-1). While this was the second draw for Paraguay after its opening draw against Peru (2-2) and had a lone victory over Venezuela (1-0).
With this result, Argentina raised its score to 7 points and advanced to the top by one point over Brazil, which will face Venezuela at dawn on Saturday, while Paraguay raised its tally to 5 points in fourth place.
Argentina produced a convincing performance and was close to victory, but Paraguay defended its lead with a goal through a penalty kick that Angel Romero translated against Franco Armani (22), and scored his third goal in the qualifiers.
The owners of the land were able to adjust the cuff before the end of the first half, from the corner of Giovanni Lucelso, around which Nicholas Gonzalez, the Stuttgart striker, headed before the defense intervened, to equal the numbers (40).

Bolivia 2-3 Ecuador 
Ecuador returned with a precious and late victory from the Bolivian stadium 3-2, raising its score to 6 points in third place, after its second victory, as it had previously won the second round over Uruguay, while Bolivia remained in the tenth and last place without a score after suffering the third defeat in a row.
The scoring was initiated by Bolivia, through Juan Carlos Arci (37). In the second half, the players scored twice, tying first through Peder Caicedo (46), then Angel Mina Delgado (55). But Bolivia leveled the scale via Marcelo Martins Moreno (60).
The result remained the same despite the attempts of both teams, until everyone thought that the match would end with the result of a draw, before Ecuador got a late penalty kick, which was successfully scored by Carlos Grueso, the German star Augsburg (88).
