FIFA Website Removes Soundtrack of U-20 World Cup

Jakarta

Recently, the issue of the continuation of the U-20 World Cup in Indonesia has become more intense, making many people curious. Especially after several well-known musicians claimed to have made a soundtrack for this event.

Take Weird Genius, who released the soundtrack for this football event on March 24 2023. Their song as well as their music video titled Glorious was also uploaded on FIFA’s official website on the same day.

Even though it’s only a snippet, it’s quite a proud thing for the country. Netizens are proud and often encourage the continuation of this event.

But after a few days, the song then disappeared from the official FIFA website. This shocked and became a new public discussion.

They are curious about the loss of the song on the official FIFA website. Many thought that the U-20 World Cup would be canceled in Indonesia.

Until now, Weird Genius has also not provided clarification regarding the loss of the soundtrack on FIFA’s official website.

Previously, FIFA had canceled the draw for the U-20 World Cup which was planned to be held in Bali on 31 March 2023.

Doubts about the group phase draw began to emerge when the Governor of Bali, I Wayan Koster, called for an Israeli ban from playing there. The reason is because it is a form of Indonesia’s diplomatic support for the Palestinian cause.

The 2023 U-20 World Cup is planned to be held in Indonesia from 20 May to 11 June 2023. This championship will be attended by 24 countries including the U-20 Indonesian National Team.
