Paris: The voting details of the superstars in the FIFA Best Award have been released. Although Robert Lewandowski has been named the 2020 Player of the Year, the votes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have been the talk of the football world.
Messi, Ronaldo and Lewandowski are in the last three. Messi has selected PSG players Neymar and Killian Mbabane for the top two. Lewandowski was third on Messi’s list. However, Messi did not consider his main rival Cristiano Ronaldo for years.
On the other hand, Messi is on Ronaldo’s list. Ronaldo’s list includes Lewandowski first, Messi second and Mbabane third. On 11 November, FIFA announced that Messi, Ronaldo and Lewandowski had been selected for the last three. The first FIFA World Player of the Year award went to Lewandowski.
