FIFA releases new world team rankings after World Cup results

Brazil’s national soccer team maintained their top spot in FIFA’s world rankings on Thursday despite exiting the World Cup quarter-finals to Qatar.

The Argentine national team, recently world champions, moved up one place to second place, while the French team also moved up one place to third place.

As for Tunisia, also present at the World Cup, it remained in its thirtieth place, and Portugal also kept its ninth place.
