Madagascar retained its 108e place in the FIFA world rankings after the latest update yesterday. Barea’s recent matches during the FIFA international window, with a defeat against the Mourabitounes of Mauritania (1-2) and a victory against the Guépards of Benin, had no impact on their ranking. Madagascar is located behind Congo (106e) and Guatemala (107e) in this ranking. The October rankings should not see any big changes at the top. Indeed, the leader is still held by Argentina ahead of France, Brazil and Belgium, while it should be noted that Spain has passed (8e) and Portugal (6e) by gaining two places in the top 10, while Croatia, on the other hand, lost 4 places. On the continental level, and specifically in Africa, Morocco still remains at 13e place just like Senegal (20e) while Tunisia lost three places by finding itself (32e) and ahead of Algeria (33rd) and Egypt (still 35the). Algeria is one of the satisfactions of this ranking. Occupying the 34 in Septembere place at world level, the Fennecs climb a notch compared to the previous ranking (33e) after their defeat against Cape Verde (5-1) followed by a draw against Egypt (1-1).
