Last year’s world eleven consisted of Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk, Matthijs de Ligt, Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Eden Hazard, Frenkie de Jong, Luka Modric, Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo . Only Eden Hazard did not make it onto the shortlist again this year.
The 2020 World Elf will be announced on Thursday, December 17th. The goalkeeper and the three defenders, three midfielders and three strikers with the most votes come into World11. The remaining place in the world eleven goes to the field player who receives the next highest number of votes.
