FIFA Matchday November 2023: ASEAN Teams and FIFA Ranking Changes

tvOnenews.com – The November 2023 edition of FIFA Matchday will be filled with matches in the second round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.

This includes seven of the 11 national teams under the auspices of the AFF, aka Southeast Asia. Countries such as Cambodia, Laos, Brunei Darussalam and Timor Leste did not play in the second round because they were eliminated in the first round last October.

Seven countries also appeared in two matches during the match which was also used for the 2027 Asian Cup Qualification.

The results of this match also determine the new position of each country in the FIFA Ranking. Reporting from The ASEAN Football page, the majority of these teams experienced a decline in position.

Only Malaysia recorded significant results after winning two matches against Kyrgyzstan and Taiwan.

Malaysia was the team with the most points added, namely +26.15, which made Harimau Malaya rise seven places to 130th position.

Meanwhile, Laos actually experienced a change in position by rising one place to 187th even though they did not play a single match on the FIFA Matchday agenda this time.
