In a message broadcast through Twitter, the president of AFA, Claudio Tapia, said that he will appeal the ruling because his priority is the Argentine team.
The game on September 5, 2021 was interrupted by a prosecutor from the Brazilian health agency Anvisa and members of the Brazilian Police, who entered the field of play to the surprise of the fans. This caused the main referee to stop the lawsuit.
