The International Football Federation (FIFA) has banned eight Brazilians who missed September’s national teams from starting Premier League weekend matches. English clubs did not release them to national team matches in the association term for pandemic measures in Great Britain.
According to FIFA rules, national federations may request the player to be suspended for five days after the end of the association period if the club does not release him for representation purposes.
