Copenhagen

Intention Danish national team wear a special shirt with the message ‘Human rights‘ during the event World Cup 2022 it must disappear. FIFA forbidden to wear it.

Quoted Reuters, Denmark originally intended to wear a special training shirt during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. There will be the words “Human Rights for All” on the training suits of Christian Eriksen et al.

FIFA allegedly opposed the shirt with a critical message aimed at Qatar. The parent of world football has sent a letter to the Danish Football Association (DBU) not to wear it.

“We have received a message from FIFA that our players’ training shirts, which say ‘human rights for all; on the abdomen, have been rejected for technical reasons, which is regrettable,” said DBU chairman Jakob Jensen to the Ritzau news agency.

Message brought Danish national team originally addressed to Qatar. Event host World Cup 2022 it has been criticized for alleged human rights violations in its preparation.

Reports say that thousands of migrant workers preparing for the 2022 World Cup have died due to poor working conditions. Qatar itself has repeatedly denied this.

FIFA itself, quoted again by Reuters, did not comment on this news. Meanwhile, Jensen believes that the message Denmark wants to convey is not a political one, but an electoral one.

“We believe the message ‘human rights for all’ is universal and not a political appeal. It’s something anyone can support,” Jensen explained.

In addition to the training jerseys, Denmark had also prepared a special jersey for the 2022 World Cup, which will be held from 20 November to 18 December. The Dinamit Team jersey will wear a swimsuit with a monochromatic design, i.e. the color is totally matching.

Danish national teamplaced in group D with France, Tunisia and Australia, will wear a red, white and all-black shirt, where the sponsor is ‘unseen’, unlike other team sponsors, as a form of support for migrant workers who died and were neglected during the event World Cup 2022.
