This year, too, gamers are eagerly awaiting the new part of the FIFA series. FIFA 22 will go on sale on October 1st and will also come up with some new features. Now an important secret has been revealed: the ratings of the best players have been published.
Of course, there are only a few surprises in the top category. But one thing is immediately noticeable: Cristiano Ronaldo is no longer number two in the game! The reigning world footballer Robert Lewandowski from FC Bayern Munich has taken over this place. And according to EA Sports, the best goalkeeper is not Manuel Neuer this year either.

FIFA 22, Rating: The most noticeable changes
For years there was only one question for FIFA gamers: is Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo the best player in the game? But that is now partly over. Messi still holds the top position, but second place now goes to Robert Lewandowski. The world footballer was again upgraded by one point to 92 compared to the previous year. Ronaldo, on the other hand, lost one point and is now on a par with Kylian Mbappe and Neymar with 91 points.
The best goalkeeper in FIFA 22 is still Jan Oblak from Spanish champions Atletico Madrid. Manuel Neuer, however, received an upgrade from 89 to 90 points and is thus rated in the same way as Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Joshua Kimmich, who now has 89 points, also received an upgrade.
Among the 22 best players in FIFA 22, Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool FC are the most frequently represented with four players each, with three of the six best players at PSG. The French top club is likely to appear much more frequently in the popular Ultimate Team mode than in previous years.
