The U7 juniors from SV Austria Salzburg were supported by 1300 fans in the curve in the test match against SV Grödig. The supporters even put on a controlled pyro show for the kids in the stands.
The training manager Sascha Gasthuber published a video with the crazy scenes on Instagram.
He comments on the action of the fans as follows: “Austria is a family club that has placed its focus on its youngsters. Our organized fan scene is always on the spot and encourages the youngsters, especially children and young people, with various activities in front of the curve and also outside it.”
According to the head of training, the children and parents beamed with joy and enthusiasm. The game took place in the Max Aicher Stadium on small goals and the field was limited to the size of the penalty area.
The first team from Austria Salzburg is currently playing in the Regionalliga Salzburg and is in third place in the table. The traditional team wants to promote promotion to the second division in the long term.
