Nobody could restrain Vladimir Treshchalov’s temper.
Vladimir Treshchalov began acting in the 1960s and his greatest fame was the role of Fierce in the western The Elusive Avengers. The handsome villain broke the hearts of onlookers who dreamed of meeting him. They had no idea that his character was supposed to appear throughout the entire trilogy. But the actor was kicked off the set.
Vladimir’s cool character manifested itself in his youth. In 1958, a drunk military school cadet got into a fight with a friend and stabbed him in the stomach. The military court sentenced Treshchalov to a penalty in disbat. But he only served there for a year, after which he left the army with the help of his father, who worked in the general staff.
Vladimir did not stop fighting with age. So, on the set of The Elusive Avengers, he decided to fix things with director Edmond Keosayan, attacking him with his fists. As a result, the script was changed, Lyuty was “killed” in the first film, and the sequels were shot without Treshchalov.
Later, the actor assured that participation in the film broke his life. For the role of him, he received a high remuneration – 1200 rubles. His popularity and income made him dizzy and Vladimir decided to ask for decent pay for other projects. Treshchalov presented himself to Mosfilm officials, threatening them with physical violence. The actor was fired with a scandal and previously included in all “black lists”.
It was then that fans got a chance to meet Fierce face to face. To earn a living, Treshchalov was forced to work as a trolley bus driver for several years. In the late 1970s, he returned to the cinema, but thanks to his past antics he was able to forget about a dizzying career.
