A scandal broke out in the studio of “Referendum” on BNT because of the coronavirus. During a pre-election debate, a heated argument erupted between Assoc. Prof. Atanas Mangarov and the candidate for MP of Democratic Bulgaria Antoaneta Tsoneva. The two argued over whether wearing masks made sense.
Tsoneva dared to accuse Mangarov of having contributed to the infodemia in our country. She brought a disinfectant and a mask to the infectious disease specialist’s bank, neatly placed in a transparent envelope. He insisted that he had been wearing the same mask for a long time.
“This is a provocation. Wearing masks is pointless. This is a great delusion,” said Mangarov sharply, pushing the envelope with the mask and the bottle of disinfectant with his hand on the ground.
