The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed that 80 ambulances have been equipped to secure the Men’s Handball World Cup, which is currently being held in Egypt, pointing out that ambulances have been distributed in the vicinity of the sports stadiums and the residence of the participating delegations, pointing out that all medical teams are linked to the stadium. Ambulances, stands, clinics, and medical points through a wireless device to coordinate and evacuate emergency and sick cases.
The ministry added that there is continuous follow-up by Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, regarding the emphasis on adherence to precautionary and preventive measures during the activities and events of the tournament, adding that all sports halls and hotel accommodation rooms are sprayed and sterilized before the arrival of delegations in coordination with The Ministry of Tourism, and the bags and luggage of sports delegations are disinfected upon arrival at the hotels.
